Please note that while we do our best to stick to our release goals, sometimes delays do happen. Therefore, these dates are subject to change.

Some courses are released one semester at a time so students can begin at the start of the school year. In these cases, the second semester is typically released a few months after the first. See each course for details.

Math: Level I

This updated version of our Math: Level I course includes several new lessons that cover solving equations with cube roots, modeling with inequalities, and two-way tables, as well as several revised lessons that have received updates to the guided notes and associated activities. This additional and enhanced content helps to better set students up for success in future math courses and better aligns this course with state standards.

Algebra 1

This updated version of our Algebra 1 course adds two new units to the course covering sequences and data analysis as well as several individual lessons throughout existing units. Geometry

Algebra 2


This is an entirely brand new version of Algebra 2, which will be replacing our existing Algebra 2 course. This updated Algebra 2 course has been restructured to encourage better conceptual understanding and to better fit within our Mia Math curriculum. Lessons contain improved instruction and significantly expanded companion materials including guided notes, additional practice activities, a fully worked out key for all online practice questions, and a printable version of all online practice questions.

Language Arts: Level A

In this engaging kindergarten course, young learners begin their journey as readers, writers, and storytellers. Students explore what stories are, why people tell them, and how pictures and words work together to help us understand meaning. Through playful adventures at Story Camp, students learn about characters, settings, events, and simple informational texts while building early reading behaviors and print awareness. As they grow in confidence, students begin expressing their ideas through drawing, labeling, and early writing. Throughout the course, meaningful routines, hands-on exploration, and gentle skill building help children develop a joyful foundation for literacy that will support all future learning.

Language Arts: Level B

In this course, students gain confidence as readers and discover their voices as writers. Students will begin by exploring fiction, learning to understand characters, setting, plot, and theme. They’ll then turn to nonfiction, using text structures and features to build knowledge of new topics. Drawing on what they’ve learned from authors, students will write across multiple genres, including narratives, opinion pieces, informational texts, how-to books, and poetry. Meaningful practice and recurring themes help students build a solid literacy foundation that supports growth across all subject areas.

Language Arts: Level C

In this course, students will explore a wide variety of texts, including realistic fiction, mysteries, informational texts, how-tos, make-believe stories, research reports, and poetry, and use what they learn to create their own original writing pieces. They will build confidence by practicing comprehension, inferencing, and analysis skills while also strengthening their writing through brainstorming, planning, drafting, revising, and editing. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of writing that demonstrates their growth and accomplishments.

Language Arts: Level E

In this course, students investigate and explore how reading and writing help us make sense of the world and share our ideas with others. Through themed units that highlight genres like informational articles, world stories, poetry, historical texts, and biographies, students will analyze how texts are organized and how authors communicate their ideas with readers. Along the way, students will write in a variety of forms, including news articles, fables, poems, and personal narratives. This course invites students to not only strengthen their comprehension and critical thinking skills but also to grow as curious, confident readers and writers who can connect language arts to real-world ideas.

Grammar Skills: Level F


This course provides a comprehensive and engaging foundation in grammar, language mechanics, and fundamental writing skills for 5th-grade students. Through focused units on print concepts, parts of speech, sentence construction, punctuation, vocabulary, and figurative language, learners will strengthen their ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Students will not only practice essential grammar skills but also apply them in creative and academic writing. English 3


In this course, students explore the evolving story of America through foundational texts, classic literature, and modern questions that still shape public life. Across the course, students practice finding and articulating themes, analyzing how authors develop ideas through structure and language, and writing with increasing clarity and purpose. Reading moves from early American narratives and founding-era arguments to Romantic imagination, social issues, *The Great Gatsby*, and 20th-century voices that challenge and expand what β€œAmerica” means. Throughout the year, students build toward confident, evidence-based writing β€” including narratives, literary analysis, argument, and a final capstone that connects research to civic ideals.

Holidays

This course invites K-8 students to explore the cultural, historical, and civic significance of major holidays celebrated throughout the year. From New Year’s Day to Kwanzaa, students will learn about the traditions, stories, and values that different communities honor through their holidays. Through this journey, students will build cultural awareness, appreciate diversity, and understand how shared celebrations bring people together and reflect core values. This course supports students in becoming curious, respectful, and informed citizens in a global society.

U.S. History for Middle School

This is a remake of two Middle School US History courses (UHG and UH2) combined into one. It covers US History from pre-Exploration Indigenous Peoples to ~1950.

Earth and Space Science

American Sign Language 1

In this course, high school students embark on a comprehensive, year-long journey into the visual and expressive world of ASL. This foundational course builds essential communication skills through a structured sequence of six units that focus on real-life topics such as home interactions, daily routines, social activities, and workplace conversations. Students will learn to express themselves using fingerspelling, everyday vocabulary, and core ASL grammar structures. With a focus on Deaf culture and visual storytelling, each lesson invites students to practice expressive and receptive skills in meaningful ways. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to navigate basic conversations in ASL and connect authentically with members of the Deaf community.

Movement and Me

In this course, students in grades 3–5 explore how movement supports a healthy body, focused mind, and positive habits for life. Through an adventure-themed journey, students learn about physical fitness, heart health, strength, flexibility, coordination, and wellness routines like hydration, nutrition, sleep, and recovery. Each lesson combines age-appropriate health concepts with guided movement activities that help students learn to listen to their bodies, build confidence, and develop lifelong fitness skills. This course supports whole-child growth by encouraging reflection, setting goals, and engaging in joyful movement.

Life Skills 2

Life Skills 2 is a course designed for students at the developmental level of grades 3–5 and focuses on building the practical, everyday skills kids need to feel confident, capable, and independent. Through step-by-step lessons, students practice essential skills related to self-care, daily routines, household responsibilities, social skills, and personal and home safety. Each lesson emphasizes decision-making, problem-solving, and responsibility in age-appropriate, real-world scenarios students can apply immediately in their own lives. Parents may wish to assign this in conjunction with other 3rd – 5th grade level core courses, or as a unique summer learning class. The course is intended to be assigned three days per week.

Middle School Music Appreciation


This course invites students to examine the role of music in their lives from multiple perspectives, including the musical elements that shape it, its social significance, and its emotional and personal impact. Along the way, they will learn to aurally identify and describe core musical elements, explore how music has evolved over time, and examine its role in storytelling across film and video games. Students will also discover a range of music-related careers and reflect on their own interests and strengths. By the end of the course, learners will have a deeper understanding of music’s role in the world and how it connects to their personal identity and everyday life.

Middle School Visual Arts


This course is a foundational, project-based program designed for 6th-8th grade students to explore a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and concepts. Through six structured units, students will develop essential skills in observation, creativity, and self-expression while engaging in traditional drawing and painting, 3D and sculptural art, mixed media and printmaking, stylized and illustrative art forms, and real-world art applications. The course also incorporates art history and cultural explorations to deepen students’ understanding of historical and contemporary artistic influences.
