South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund
At Miacademy, we’ve been hard at work partnering with various state funding agencies across the country. Our goal is to make a quality education accessible for every student, and we’re accomplishing our goal one state at a time.
If you’re homeschooling in South Carolina, we have some exciting news to share with you!
As of 2025, Miacademy is now an approved purchase for the South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund!
South Carolina families can now access Miacademy’s accredited online homeschool curriculum with a reimbursement provided by the South Carolina Department of Education.
What Is the South Carolina ESA?
The South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund, or the South Carolina ESA, is a program that helps students in need access high-quality educational support. With this program, families can now access the resources their child needs to thrive — from things like books and programs to supplement public schooling to homeschooling curricula and even tutoring services.
Scholarship accounts are funded through an annual allotment from the South Carolina General Assembly. For the 2025-26 school year, the program can serve up to 10,000 students with awards of $7,500 each.
