6th Grade Social Studies Curriculum
In social studies, sixth graders start an exciting learning journey through the ancient world, uncovering how civilizations like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome rose, thrived, and impacted the future. Along the way, they explore ancient systems of government, belief, and culture while developing map and geography skills to place these societies in a global context. By connecting these ancient stories to the modern world, our curriculum gives students a deeper, more meaningful understanding of how human history has evolved.
